Day 1

Alright, here is the scoop.

For
the next 60 days I will be juicing my own juice from fresh fruits and vegetables. Yeah, you heard me 60 mother f-ing days (censored for mom, love you). 

Lets have a moment of silence for all the things I am going to miss most…
-Coffee
-Bagels
-Pizza
-Bacon
-Burritos

Okay, seriously though, this is going to be really hard but I am SO excited. Here is where I will record what I’m juicing, how I’m feeling, side effects, weight loss, oh and poop. Duh, everybody wants to know what my poop is going to be like. Come on, you know you thought about it. Mostly this blog is going to be for me, for my records and reflections.

Back story. I’ve been eating gluten and dairy free for the last three months, mostly eating fruits, veggies, white meat, fish and nuts. So, I am NOT starting this cleanse on a fatty fast food diet. I have had some build up to this crazy adventure and I think that would be wise for anyone else wanting to start a cleanse. 

I’m really exccited about jucing, I did all the research, watched all the documetaries and have a million recipies I want to try. Thanks for reading and I hope you are inspired to take the next steps to improve your health (and get a bangin body, AM I RIIIIIGHT?!) 

Also, please note: I am not a doctor, I am not a scientist or even a writer. Just your average 23 year old, city living lady wanting to get her juice on.

Day 1

Today was my first day on the cleanse and let me tell you, I ALREADY FEEL AWESOME!!!
I woke up and made juices for the day. Drank my first at 7am, 2nd at 11am 3rd at 2pm and made another juice when I got home at 6pm (it is best to drink juices RIGHT after juicing or so I am told)

I didnt really ever get that OH MY GOSH I AM GOING TO THROW UP IF I DONT GET SOMETHING IN MY MOUTH RIGHT NOWWWWWWW kind of feeling. I felt on the verge of being hungry all day. Like, yeah if there were nachos in front of me I would eat them, but I am not going to take the time and go make them cause I’m not THAT hungry, you know? I was SHOCKED that I didnt feel starving all day. If I started to feel a little hungry or bored I just had a glass of water or a mint tea (caffeine free) and the hunger went away. I did get a head ache around 1pm and took an excderine and felt fine 20 minutes later.

My brain feels really alive and clear, like all the parts are well greased and the motor is running perfect. I almost feel like my vision is better (LOL called my mom and told her this and she said OH BOTHER!) Overall, I felt really present in coversation and very positive.

I didn’t have my normal morning poop (most likely because I didn’t have my morning coffee SAD FACE) I didn’t poop until 6pm and it was a completely normal and perfect poop. Not overly firm and not overly watery, is that okay to say? Poop is weird.

I’m headed to the gym now to go for a swim and more importantly to weigh myself so I can record this shit! I actually have no idea how much I weigh. Who knew not owning a scale would be motivation to go to the gym. Win, win I guess.

MY JUICCCCCCCCCY JUICES FOR THE DAY!

Juice 1
Spicy and Savory, this tasted like v8 and smelt like garbage
2 roma tomatoes
1 clove of garlic
1/2 lemon
2 carrots
1 red pepper
1 cucumber
1 celery stalk
1 cup broccoli

Juice 2
Sweet, like really f-ing sweet, like a jamba juice, it had a nice thick texture to it too.
2 honey crisp apples 
1 carrot
1 pear
4 cutie oranges
1 cup spinach
1 cup blueberries
1 cup raspberries
5 strawberries

 Juice 3
Tart and sweet, like a sour gummie treat and was lime green
2 apples granny smith
3 carrots
1 cup spinach
6 large slices of pineapple 

AND THATS A WRAP ON DAY 1!!! I will have weigh in details for you tomorrow!
